Warehouse Packer/Puller

Description

The Warehouse Packer/Puller supports the flow of materials through the warehouse by locating products, preparing customer orders, and staging materials for shipment. This position requires accuracy, safe material handling, and the ability to work efficiently in a physically active environment.

The successful candidate will follow order documentation carefully, verify materials before shipment, and help maintain an organized and safe warehouse.

• →Review work orders, shipping documents, and other order information to determine required materials.
• →Locate and pull the correct materials from designated warehouse and storage areas.
• →Verify product numbers, quantities, sizes, and other identifying information to ensure order accuracy.
• →Prepare materials for shipment by bundling, wrapping, packing, labeling, and securing products as needed.
• →Organize and stage completed orders in the appropriate shipping areas.
• →Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other approved material-handling equipment.
• →Safely transport materials throughout the warehouse and place products in their designated locations.
• →Inspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies before orders are shipped.
• →Report missing, damaged, or incorrect materials to the supervisor and assist with resolving order discrepancies.
• →Assist with inventory accuracy by properly storing, identifying, and handling warehouse materials.
• →Maintain clear and organized work areas, storage locations, and shipping areas.
• →Follow established procedures for material handling, packing, shipping, and equipment operation.
• →Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and warehouse procedures.
• →Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding order status, material needs, and potential issues.
• →Assist other warehouse employees and departments as needed to support daily production and shipping requirements.
• →Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, shipping, material-handling, or order fulfillment experience preferred but not required.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately read and follow pick tickets, labels, work orders, and written instructions.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, lift, and move materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately identify products and quantities.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment.
• Ability and willingness to follow all safety requirements and proper equipment operating procedures.
