Electrical Engineering Trainer/Assessor

It is where apprentices apply their knowledge, develop professional habits and build the evidence that shows they are ready for the next stage.

As our Electrical Engineering Assessor, you’ll support apprentices in college and with employers, helping them make progress towards Gateway and End Point Assessment. You’ll review evidence, carry out workplace assessments, complete progress reviews and give clear feedback that helps apprentices understand what they need to do next.

This role is about more than checking paperwork. You’ll help apprentices connect what they learn with what they do at work. You’ll support employers to understand apprenticeship requirements and help make sure learners are developing the right knowledge, skills and behaviours.

You may already be an experienced assessor. You may be an electrical engineering professional looking to move from industry into education. If you have strong industry experience and want to help develop the next generation of engineers, we can support you to gain the assessing and teaching qualifications required for the role.
