The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an R&O Technician in our FAA-certified Repair Station. As an R&O Technician, you will work with a team of specialists on our turbine engine products. Responsibilities include assembly, disassembly, test, cleaning of parts, rework of components, and engine preparation for shipment, plus a variety of other tasks enabling you to quickly become a contributing member of our team, with the possibility of earning FAA Repairman Certification.

Additionally, the R&O Technician will:

• Assemble, disassemble, clean, and conduct rework of gas turbine engines and related components. Assignments are accomplished by following process plans, general work instructions, and/or engine manuals. 
• Stamp work at completion of the operation to ensure compliance to engine manual and quality requirements.
• Conduct the visual inspection of engine hardware. 
• Maintain work area in accordance with established 6S standards. 
• Adhere to all safety standards and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must have at least 2 years of professional experience as a mechanic or 1 year directly working with Williams International gas turbine engines preferred.  
• Ability to read and interpret sketches/drawings and use inspection equipment is required. 
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Physical lifting requirements include: ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and able to reach above the shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum). 
• U.S. citizenship is required. 
• Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
