Temporary Medical Officer

Our client invites applications for the position of Temporary Medical Officer. The successful candidate will provide high-quality medical care and support the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred healthcare services within the designated clinical setting.

  Provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care for patients.

  Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and on-call duties as required.

• →

  Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• →

  Collaborate effectively with consultants, nursing staff, allied health professionals, and administrative teams.

• →

  Adhere to HSE policies, clinical governance standards, and professional guidelines.

• →

  Participate in audit, quality improvement, and continuing professional development activities.

• →

  Support service delivery and patient safety initiatives.

Applicants must:

• →

  Hold a medical degree recognized by the Medical Council of Ireland.

• →

  Be registered (or eligible for registration) with the Medical Council of Ireland.

• →

  Demonstrate appropriate clinical experience relevant to the post.

• →

  Possess excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.

• →

  Be legally entitled to work in Ireland.

• Previous experience working within the Irish healthcare system.

• Experience in acute hospital, community, or primary care settings.

• Evidence of continuing professional development.
