As a Senior Solution Consultant – Agentic MCP Specialist at Workato, you will own the technical win strategy for agentic AI and MCP across strategic enterprise opportunities driving measurable revenue impact and influencing deal outcomes. You will partner with enterprise customers and field sales teams across the full sales cycle to evangelise, architect, and validate MCP-based solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. Combining deep technical credibility with a commercially sharp mindset, you will enable customers and partners to unlock the full potential of agentic AI on the Workato platform, while shaping the broader MCP narrative through thought leadership and close collaboration with Product and Engineering. You will also be responsible to:

  • Act as the primary technical advisor and evangelist for Workato's Agentic and MCP (Model Context Protocol) capabilities, guiding enterprise customers from initial discovery through to solution design and proof-of-concept delivery

  • Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture workshops to understand customer AI and automation landscapes, translating business challenges into scalable MCP-based solutions on the Workato platform

  • Partner with Account Executives and Solutions Consulting teams to drive technical win strategies, delivering compelling demos, RFP responses, and value-based narratives tailored to executive and technical audiences

  • Enable customers and partners to build, deploy, and operationalise MCP integrations by providing hands-on guidance, reference architectures, and best practice frameworks

  • Serve as a feedback conduit between field engagements and Workato's Product and Engineering teams, surfacing customer-driven insights to shape the MCP product roadmap

  • Contribute to the broader SC community through the development of reusable assets, playbooks, and internal enablement content around agentic AI and MCP use cases

  • Stay at the forefront of the agentic AI ecosystem — including LLM frameworks, tool-calling standards, and enterprise AI governance — to position Workato as the platform of choice for intelligent automation

  • 5+ years in a Presales, Solutions Consulting, or Technical Consulting role within an enterprise SaaS or AI platform environment

  • Demonstrable hands-on experience with AI/ML ecosystems, LLM-based architectures, and agentic frameworks (e.g. LangChain, AutoGen, OpenAI, Antropic, function calling, or equivalent)

  • Solid understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) standards and practical experience designing tool calling architectures or protocol-driven AI integrations

  • Proven track record of delivering complex technical evaluations (POCs/POVs) with measurable business outcomes in enterprise sales cycles

  • Experience with iPaaS, API management, or workflow automation platforms; familiarity with Workato is a strong advantage

  • Working knowledge of enterprise security, governance, and compliance considerations relevant to AI and data integration deployments

  • Exposure to enterprise personas across IT, Data, and Business stakeholder groups, with the ability to engage credibly at both a technical and executive level

  • Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling business value narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Strong executive presence with confidence presenting to C-suite stakeholders, delivering workshops, and representing Workato at industry events and conferences

  • Collaborative by nature, with the ability to work cross-functionally across Sales, Product, and Customer Success without formal authority

  • Intellectually curious and self-directed, with a passion for staying ahead of rapidly evolving AI and automation trends

  • Resilient and adaptable, thriving in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments where priorities and technology landscapes shift frequently
