About the Role

We're looking for an Operations Project Manager to join one of our Service Operations teams at Workwize. You'll be embedded in one of our core services — Retrievals, Delivery, Procuring, Warehousing, or M&D — but the role is the same across all of them: own and drive operational improvement.

Workwize's Service Operations team is responsible for delivering a seamless end-to-end service experience for our clients globally. Each service runs as its own operational unit — managing vendors, driving performance, and continuously improving. We move fast, operate across multiple markets, and are scaling quickly. The problems we face are real, recurring, and solvable — and this role exists to solve them.

You'll own multiple improvement projects simultaneously, working from root cause through to measurable impact. This role suits someone who thrives in ambiguity, communicates proactively, and is energised by turning complex operational challenges into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Own ~2 concurrent improvement projects within your assigned service, from problem definition through to measurable outcome
  • Identify root causes behind operational inefficiencies, SLA misses, and escalation patterns — and design solutions to fix them
  • Track performance before and after changes to validate impact and ensure sustainability
  • Work cross-functionally with Technology, other SO teams, and external partners to implement solutions
  • Communicate proactively on progress, risks, and blockers — without being prompted
  • Engage directly with clients or suppliers when complex scenarios require it
  • Strong structured thinking and problem-solving ability — you break problems down before jumping to solutions
  • Ownership mentality — you see things through end-to-end rather than stopping at handoffs
  • Clear, proactive communicator — surfaces risks and updates without being asked
  • Comfortable in ambiguity — you can refine the problem as you go
  • Data-driven — you use metrics to prioritise and validate impact
  • ~2 years of experience in project-based, operational, or consulting environments (a guide, not a strict requirement — how you think matters more than where you've been)
