The Role: We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join a team that operates and evolves a complex distributed architecture spanning physical machines, Kubernetes and cloud computing environments. You will be part of a high-impact team championing operational excellence, reliability, and performance.

The role involves:

Working across multiple layers of the stack,
Participating in our on-call system as part of a shared rotation,
Collaborating closely with developers,
Mentoring and supporting junior support staff,
Helping integrate AI-driven solutions into our systems.

What you'll bring:

Strong Linux system internals, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.
Solid networking knowledge and ability to debug complex connectivity issues.
Hands-on experience with complex distributed systems (e.g., Kubernetes, Kafka, Kerberos).
Practical experience with CI/CD tools and modern SDLC practices.
Proficiency with containers and virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar).
Experience with observability/telemetry.
Strong scripting/automation skills (ideally Python).
Ability to collaborate with developers and help integrate AI solutions into production systems.
