As Gender Expert you are responsible to ensuring that gender considerations are integrated into project planning, implementation, and stakeholder engagement activities, promoting equitable participation and benefits.

What you’ll do

We are looking for Gender Expert to join our team in Indonesia.

The role responsibilities include:

1.   Conducting orientation and briefing on gender and Gender Action Plan (GAP)

2.   Ensure gender is integrated into contractor/subcontractor’s contracts and related documents and ensure non-discrimination in recruitment policy.

3.   Coordinate effectively to ensure that GAP actions and targets are achieved

4.   Ensure communication materials (website, leaflets/brochure, etc.) and SOP for stakeholder engagement and communication activities are gender sensitive and promote positive images of women in geothermal.

5.   Ensure fair participation of women in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of community development program.

6.   Conduct regular field trips to monitor GAP implementation, collect sex-disaggregated data reflecting progress on GAP targets and indicators, and prepare progress reports.

Compliance: 

1. Support the implementation and maintenance of the Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting continuous environmental performance improvement.
2. Promote and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by supporting the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) in compliance with ISO 45001, identifying hazards, assessing risks, and driving continuous improvement in workplace safety.
3. Support the implementation and monitoring of the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) in accordance with ISO 37001, ensuring compliance with anti-bribery policies, due diligence, and promoting a culture of integrity and transparency.
4. Employees are expected to comply with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System by following established procedures, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to continual improvement. This ensures alignment with the organization's commitment to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

What you’ll have

1.      Having basic safety and environment knowledge, manage all team able to implement safety process, near miss report and mitigate risk effectively in order safety working properly.

2.      Applies experience from social sciences post-graduate training and development studies to develop initiatives and programs to improve gender balanced roles and opportunities on the project.

3.      Having 5 years’ experience in Social Sciences
