Pipefitter Apprentice

To work at our Air Products Field Project in Edmonton, AB.

• SALARY: $31.20 - $46.80
• DSP SALARY: $72.44
• BENEFITS: 3% Pension & 3% RRSP + CLAC Benefits
• HOURS PER DAY: 10 Mon - Thurs, 8 Friday
• OVERTIME: After 8 hours a day
• SHIFT: Days & Nights
• START DATE: ASAP
• PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)

• →Demonstrates knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving and bending of pipes, valves and fittings
• →Assembles and installs piping sections according to blueprints and job specifications
• →Performs physically demanding tasks such as cutting openings for pipe while standing for extended periods of time and securing pipe in hard to reach areas
• →Uses testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors
• →Read and interpret drawings and blue prints
• →May perform other related duties as assigned

• Must have a valid Apprenticeship Pipefitting ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
• Must have experience working at heights
• Must be willing to attend safety training (paid by WorleyCord): CSTS, WHMIS2015, ESC EWP, ESC Fall Protection,
• Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills written and verbal
• Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
