About Woven by Toyota
Woven by Toyota is enabling Toyota’s once-in-a-century transformation into a mobility company. Inspired by a legacy of innovating for the benefit of others, our mission is to challenge the current state of mobility through human-centric innovation — expanding what “mobility” means and how it serves society.

Our work centers on four pillars: AD/ADAS, our autonomous driving and advanced driver assist technologies; Arene, our software development platform for software-defined vehicles; Woven City, a test course for mobility; and Cloud & AI, the digital infrastructure powering our collaborative foundation. Business-critical functions empower these teams to execute, and together, we’re working toward one bold goal: a world with zero accidents and enhanced well-being for all.

=========================================================================
The Product Management team plays a central role in the development of products within the AD/ADAS domain at Woven by Toyota. Our mission is to deeply understand customer needs and translate them into a strategic and consistent roadmap. We work closely with the engineering team on a daily basis, ensuring we have a detailed understanding of the current development status, while advocating for the customer’s voice and determining project priorities. Additionally, we manage communications with external stakeholders to align expectations and ensure smooth project progression. Through the development of next-generation autonomous and assisted driving software, our team plays a crucial role in realizing the future of mobility.
We are looking for product managers with exceptional creativity and analytical skills necessary to build, promote, and scale top-level products. The ideal candidate will have experience in mass production development of in-vehicle systems as well as experience in improving the performance and quality of machine learning-based systems. As a product manager for AD/ADAS, you will deeply understand the user needs, as well as the technical, legal, and business constraints both internally and externally. You will conceptualize and evaluate various approaches. Ultimately, you will define goals, priorities, and roadmaps to support engineering teams in making the greatest impact with limited resources.

  • Analyze competitive landscapes and strategic positioning using data-driven insights and user research to craft roadmaps and metrics that align with our mission
  • Execution & Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Partner with engineering, validation, and release teams to resolve system bottlenecks and optimize the development cycle through effective prioritization
  • Coordinate closely with technical leads and component managers across the organization to ensure a unified approach to product development
  • Take ownership of end-to-end product delivery by engaging in technical processes such as architectural reviews and design considerations
  • Metrics, Performance & Quality
  • Identify and monitor key performance indicators that enable continuous improvement of system quality and overall functional performance
  • Stakeholder Communication
  • Articulate product roadmaps, strategic decisions, and priorities to a diverse audience ranging from internal teams to executive leadership
  • Over 3 years of experience in product management/system engineering
  • Experience working on projects related to autonomous vehicles and automobiles, involving an understanding of systems engineering and the V-process
  • Experience in mass production development of large-scale systems
  • Understanding of enterprise systems, workflow tools, data management, verification, and deployment systems
  • Excellent communication skills, collaboration abilities, and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to define and track meaningful product metrics
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • A natural ability to influence what happens around you, with the capability to manage project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized and structured manner
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with an ability to balance and manage multiple projects, deadlines, and demands effectively
  • Prior experience in the AV industry
