Collaborate with fellow engineers to refine application architecture and shared components. Design and build effective solutions from limited specifications with a high degree of autonomy. Write and maintain comprehensive tests to ensure high code coverage. Actively participate in improving continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes. Requirements Full-time dedication. This is a hybrid position based in Medellín, Colombia, requiring 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working remotely. Candidates must be located in Medellín, Colombia. Qualifications 5+ years of professional backend development experience with PHP frameworks, preferably Yii2, Laravel, and/or Symfony. A minimum of 3 years of experience building SaaS web applications and REST APIs using SOLID principles. At least 3 years of experience writing tests with Pest, PhpUnit, or Codeception, achieving high code coverage. Proven professional experience in refactoring code by applying SOLID principles. Strong understanding of software architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and Github Actions. Working knowledge of monorepos and micro-frontends. Demonstrated ability to select appropriate methods and techniques to obtain effective solutions. Capability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and programming languages.
