Our client is looking for a Legal Assistant. They are an established organization within the legal services industry, recognized in recent years for continuously strengthening their operations and expanding their service capabilities. This role supports their immigration practice by providing essential administrative and case-processing assistance to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely legal work. Responsibilities Manage daily administrative tasks including email handling, scheduling, and organizing digital case files. Perform data entry with high accuracy across internal systems and immigration forms. Complete intake forms, verify that information is complete, and review for grammatical or formatting errors. Prepare and submit documents through the CBP website, including pulling I-94 records and entering case-related details. Create and manage shipping labels and ensure proper documentation is stored in each client file. Support attorneys by preparing forms, updating case information, and maintaining up-to-date records. Ensure that all tasks are completed with attention to detail, confidentiality, and compliance with legal procedures. Collaborate with legal staff to track deadlines, maintain case calendars, and handle follow-ups. Requirements Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with data entry, form completion, and digital organization of documents. Ability to manage emails and administrative workflows efficiently. Comfortable navigating the CBP website and retrieving I-94 records. Strong writing, grammar review, and error-spotting skills. High level of honesty, accountability, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while managing recurring tasks accurately. Qualifications Previous experience in a law firm environment is preferred, ideally in immigration. Familiarity with e-immigration or similar case-management software is a plus. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information.
