Integration Specialist
Quick Summary
Business Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for business teams and end-users to identify, explore, and recommend integration solutions that enhance business process efficiency within Wrike.
Work effectively within a globally diversified team environment, coordinating with colleagues and stakeholders across different time zones to ensure project alignment and momentum.
Why we're hiring:
At WPP, technology is at the heart of everything we do, and it is WPP ET’s mission to enable everyone to collaborate, create and thrive. WPP ET is undergoing a significant transformation to modernise ways of working, shift to cloud and micro-service-based architectures, drive automation, digitise colleague and client experiences and deliver insight from WPP’s petabytes of data.
WPP Media (formerly GroupM) is the world’s leading AI-powered media investment company, responsible for more than $60B in annual media investment. It delivers results through its global agency brands, Mindshare, EssenceMediacom, Wavemaker, and T&Pm, all powered by the WPP Open AI operating system and the global data and technology company, Choreograph.
The Global Wrike Team within WPP ET is the technology solutions partner for the GroupM group of agencies. This role sits within the Integration and Reporting Pillar, where we focus on maximizing the value of Wrike through seamless connectivity. As an Integration Specialist, you will be the key liaison between business teams and our technical developers, ensuring that the integration solutions we build are not just technically sound, but truly drive business efficiency and value.
What you'll be doing:
- Business Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for business teams and end-users to identify, explore, and recommend integration solutions that enhance business process efficiency within Wrike.
- End-to-End Ownership: Own integration solutions from inception to completion, ensuring that the intended business benefits and functional requirements are fully realized in the final implementation.
- Global Collaboration: Work effectively within a globally diversified team environment, coordinating with colleagues and stakeholders across different time zones to ensure project alignment and momentum.
- Requirement Discovery: Work directly with Practice Leads and end-users to gain an in-depth understanding of diverse business practices and translate those into technical possibilities.
- Solution Advisory: Collaborate with the Integration Lead on solution design and review, providing insights into business logic and user expectations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Global Wrike Team Implementation Managers to clarify initial lead requirements and provide updates on project viability.
- Technical Feasibility: Define integration assumptions and possibilities by evaluating the capabilities and limitations of the current technology stack.
- Agile Adaptation: Manage and adapt to changing business priorities, ensuring that integration projects remain aligned with the evolving needs of the organization through an agile mindset.
- Benefit Validation: Post-implementation, verify that the solutions delivered meet the identified business success criteria.
What you'll need:
- Technical Literacy: A strong understanding of technology stack capabilities and limitations (specifically LAMP stack or Azure/Microsoft stack). You should be comfortable discussing technical constraints with developers and business logic with users.
- Global Mindset: Proven ability to work in a global team setup; you are comfortable managing your schedule to accommodate meetings across different time zones and possess strong cross-cultural communication skills.
- Consulting Background: Experience working in a software house or consulting environment is highly preferred, with a proven track record of handling diverse client needs.
- Agile Expertise: Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working within an Agile development methodology.
- Strategic Problem Solving: Crucial ability to deconstruct a business problem and envision a technical solution that balances efficiency with feasibility.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interview end-users for requirements while simultaneously managing the expectations of senior practice leads.
- Ownership Mindset: A self-starter who takes full accountability for the "intended business benefit" of a project, not just the technical "go-live."
- Adaptability: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where requirements and business priorities may shift.
