Job Title: Regional Associate Director, FP&A

 

Reports To: Regional Finance Director, Asia Pacific

Function: Finance

Location: Hong Kong

 

The WPP Media APAC team, based in Hong Kong, is looking for a Regional Associate Director, FP&A to lead the FP&A function for the APAC region with multiple countries.  The ideal candidate should have a strong background in financial analysis, planning and management reporting, with a good understanding of the accounting principles and policies.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide a timely and quality monthly management and KPI reporting to management.
  • Lead the financial budget, forecasting and plan for the region across countries.
  • Ensure the reporting complied to accounting and company policies and controls.
  • Act as a business partner for regional offices (e.g. APAC office, IT etc) and review the financial reporting at detail level with SOX compliance.
  • Perform detail financial and profitability analysis for the region, make appropriate recommendations, highlights risk and opportunities.
  • Work closely with regional and country finance teams. Communicate with Global Finance and country finance on the reporting and analysis requirement properly and timely. 
  • Provide finance support to management.
  • Lead the process improvement and support ad hoc projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Possess strong business acumen with a strategic mindset
  • Must be analytical with good communication, detail-orientated and able to operate independently.
  • Hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis reporting.
  • Degree holder in Accounting / Finance or related disciplines.
  • A qualified accountant with at least 12 years of relevant experience in management reporting / FP&A / Audit from a sizable MNC or corporation is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good interpersonal & communication skills with ability and confidence to work at all levels.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines in a fast- paced environment with multiple legal entities and business units.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
