Bingham Healthcare is seeking compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Our Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center provides short-term rehabilitation, recovery services, and skilled nursing care for patients working toward regaining independence and returning home. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care and support services under the direction of licensed nursing staff within our Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

In this role, you'll assist patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or hospitalization by helping with daily activities, mobility, rehabilitation goals, and personal care needs. Your compassion, encouragement, and attention to detail help patients maintain dignity, improve independence, and achieve successful recovery outcomes.

CNAs are often the caregivers who spend the most time with patients, making this one of the most impactful roles in healthcare.


Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake and output, activities of daily living, and patient interactions
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and rehabilitation activities
• Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights
• Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families
• Ensure patients receive daily hygiene care, linen changes, and comfort measures

• Assist nursing staff with procedures and patient care activities
• Monitor patient safety and report changes in condition to licensed nursing staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the medical record
• Assist with equipment setup, cleaning, and maintenance procedures
• Safely discontinue IVs, heplocks, Foley catheters, and NG/OG tubes after competency completion
• Support infection prevention and patient safety protocols

• Work closely with nurses, providers, rehabilitation staff, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain a respectful and professional environment for patients, visitors, and coworkers
• Assist with stocking supplies, maintaining patient care areas, and supporting unit operations
• Answer phones professionally and communicate information appropriately
• Promote teamwork and exceptional patient experiences throughout every shift

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Current CNA certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, hospital, or patient care experience preferred but not required
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

• Ability to lift, transfer, reposition, and assist patients safely
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to safely operate patient care equipment and supplies
