As a Same Day Surgery RN, you will play a vital role in preparing patients for procedures, providing education and support to patients and families, coordinating care, and ensuring a safe and positive surgical experience from admission through discharge.

Responsibilities include:

  Providing direct patient care and nursing assessments

• →

  Educating patients and families regarding procedures and recovery

• →

  Coordinating care across departments and providers

• →

  Monitoring patient conditions and responding appropriately

• →

  Maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic medical record

• →

  Supporting quality improvement initiatives

• →

  Serving as a mentor, preceptor, and collaborative team member when needed

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• Current Idaho Registered Nurse (RN) License

• ACLS

• PALS

• TNCC

• NRP

• CCRN, CMC, or PCCN certifications are a plus

• Minimum of one year of RN experience preferred

• Previous surgical services, ICU, PACU, or progressive care experience preferred

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

• Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and priorities

• Experience working within electronic medical record systems

• Commitment to teamwork and exceptional patient care
