We are now seeking a Finance Spain & Revenue Director to lead our Spanish finance team and drive revenue growth across our Spanish and Portuguese business units. We are looking for someone with strong financial expertise, a commercial mindset, and the capacity to turn financial insights into growth, profitability and market impact.
 
This is not a traditional finance role — it is a pivotal business leadership position, working closely with the Country CEO and the Iberian leadership teams to shape strategy, challenge decisions and drive Younited’s performance in the region.
 
You will lead our Finance & Pricing team based in Barcelona and play a key role in accelerating growth, developing new ideas and pushing the organisation forward.
  • Business, Revenue & Market Leadership
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Country CEO, constructively challenging decisions and identifying opportunities to improve revenue, margins and overall commercial performance.
  • Bring strong sector expertise and market knowledge to identify data‑driven opportunities and influence strategic direction.

  • Financial Management & Governance
  • Oversee all financial operations — including cash flow, accounting, controlling and reporting — ensuring robust, reliable processes that support fast, high‑quality decision‑making.
  • Ensure full compliance with Banco de España requirements and all statutory and regulatory obligations.
  • Supervise tax processes and ensure adherence to local regulations.
  • Lead internal and external audits with the highest standards of accuracy and quality.

  • Pricing Strategy
  • Lead the pricing function to ensure competitiveness, profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with Risk, Marketing, Product and central teams to shape pricing decisions aligned with revenue and margin objectives.

  • Create a work environment where strong, experienced professionals can grow, thrive and expand their impact.
  • Experience & Background
  • Senior leadership experience in finance with a clear business orientation — ideally within fintech, consumer finance, digital lending, payments or other high‑growth environments.
  • Strong technical foundation in finance, ideally including experience in Big Four firms (EY, PwC, Deloitte, Mazars) and/or managing accounting or controlling teams in established companies.
  • A proven track record as a true business partner, influencing strategy, driving revenue and delivering measurable P&L improvements.
  • Experience working in regulated environments or with regulatory processes.

  • Strong analytical mindset and proficiency with financial and performance tools (Power BI or similar).
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to craft impactful presentations, both visually and in content.
  • Curious, proactive, growth‑oriented and comfortable challenging the status quo.
  • Native or fluent Spanish and strong command of English.
  • Flexible working hours and a hybrid work model (office in Barcelona).
