In this context, portfolio modeling sits at the heart of our financial steering. It has direct impact on our profitability through valuation modeling, on our strategy through Business Plan modeling, and on our Capital forecasting through ICAAP & stress scenario assessment.
We are recruiting a Head of Credit Portfolio Modeling, a highly strategic role directly exposed to the COMEX, responsible for shaping and leading the modelling framework that underpins the company’s financial and strategic decisions.
Missions 🚀
Lead the design, development, enhancement, and ownership of Younited’s portfolio models (valuation, IFRS, business planning, capital forecasting, stress testing), enabling data-driven steering of profitability, risk, and capital, and directly supporting the company’s financial guidance and ROE objectives.
1) Strategic Leadership
- Define and own the Portfolio Modeling roadmap aligned with Younited’s profitability guidance and long-term ROE targets
- Deliver forward-looking analyses, scenarios, and insights to support COMEX-level decision-making
- Identify and quantify portfolio performance drivers (risk, margin, capital, cash-flows)
2) Modeling & quantitative expertise
- Oversee and challenge all core portfolio models, including : Valuation models, IFRS 9 / Expected Credit Loss models, Business Planning models, Capital forecasting & ICAAP, Macro scenarios & stress testing
- Ensure robustness, methodological consistency, scalability, and regulatory alignment across all modeling frameworks
3) Financial steering & business impact
- Partner closely with Finance, FP&A, Risk, Strategy, ALM, Origination, and Pricing teams
- Translate modeling outputs into clear impacts on: P&L, Asset quality, Capital consumption & ROE
- Support and influence strategic arbitrations: production volumes, pricing, funding strategy, capital allocation, and risk appetite
4) Leadership & cross-functional influence
- Lead and develop an IFRS specialist
- Collaborate closely with different Finance Teams
- Represent the Portfolio Modeling function before the COMEX, auditors, and senior internal stakeholders
About You 👇
Experience
- 7–12 years’ experience in quantitative modelling, portfolio analytics, risk modelling, business planning or financial engineering
- Experience within a regulated environment (bank, fintech, credit institution)
- Experience in a listed company or high-performance / highconstraint financial environment is a major asset
Technical skills
- Strong expertise in quantitative modeling: risk models, valuation, IFRS 9/ECL, cash-flow modeling, forecasting, macro scenario modelling
- Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, statistics, and econometrics
- Solid understanding of key profitability drivers in lending: credit risk, capital, funding, ROE
Soft skills
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate with COMEX-level clarity
- Strong analytical rigor combined with business acumen
- Leadership, clarity, pedagogy, and ability to simplify complex topics
