Installation Technician

• →Install, program, test, and troubleshoot a wide range of low voltage systems, including fire alarms, intrusion alarms, CCTV surveillance, and access control systems
• →Pull, route, terminate, and label low-voltage cabling in accordance with blueprints and installation standards
• →Perform inspections and complete annual fire alarm certification tests per NFPA and local codes
• →Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and system configurations
• →Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and other trades on new construction and retrofit projects
• →Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, safety regulations, and company policies
• →Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally on-site
• →Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience installing or servicing fire alarm or security systems (additional experience preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electronics or low-voltage systems a plus
• Working knowledge of fire alarm codes (NFPA 72), basic networking, and low-voltage system principles
• Familiarity with tools and materials used in the low-voltage industry
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Comfortable working on construction sites and adhering to job site safety protocols
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, evolving technical environment

• Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, with additional hours as needed to meet business demands. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support time-sensitive procurement activities or vendor engagements.
• Ability to work with hand tools, meters, and other necessary industry-related equipment
• Ability to climb ladders and operate lifts
• Ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds
• All duties must be performed in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Salary: $18-$32/hr, based on experience
