Job Description: As a Django Developer at Inuvik Web Services, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our web applications. You will work closely with our front-end and back-end teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Django, along with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Apache, and AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain web applications using the Django framework.
– Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
– Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
– Design and implement robust and scalable APIs.
– Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
– Manage and optimize database performance.
– Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
– Implement security and data protection measures.
– Troubleshoot and debug applications.
– Maintain code quality through code reviews and automated testing.
– Deploy applications on Apache servers and manage AWS infrastructure.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Django Developer.
– Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
– Strong understanding of web server management with Apache.
– Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.).
– Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
– Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
– Experience with other back-end frameworks and libraries.
– Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
– Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
