We make eco-friendly products and donate 50% of our profits to provide clean water and help build toilets for the billions of people who lack proper access. So far, we’ve contributed over $13.3 million AUD (roughly $8.9 million USD) to fund sanitation projects around the globe. Basically, we’re really good at doing good.

With hubs in Australia, the Philippines, China, the US, UK and Europe, our amazing team of 200+ work to make the biggest possible impact for people and the planet. Over the next couple of years, we’re hoping to increase our annual donation tenfold to get us closer to our dream of everyone in the world having access to clean water and sanitation services.

A bit about the role

Our Number Scrunchers team is experiencing exciting growth alongside the business’s expansion into the EU market. This new role reflects that growth, and we’re seeking a talented Financial Accountant to support our United Kingdom, Ireland & Europe hubs, working alongside colleagues managing the AU and US hubs.

Here, you won’t just crunch numbers, you’ll be a strategic partner! Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll collaborate with our external and internal accounting partners to ensure smooth operations and take ownership of reporting for key financial aspects of the UKI and EU hubs of the business. Thriving in a collaborative environment, you’ll build strong relationships across departments to ensure seamless financial information flow and contribute to strategic decision-making. As the eyes and ears of our Number Scrunchers accounting function in the UK, Ireland, and EU, you’ll be instrumental in keeping the company’s day-to-day transactional financial activities in check. You’ll ensure we have accurate and timely records, playing a key role in developing and implementing processes that support our continued growth.

If you worked here this past month here are some things you might have been involved in:

  • Took the lead on end-of-month reporting for the UKI & EU entities, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting insights
  • Creating year-end magic by partnering with the Compliance, Regulatory and Governance team to prepare for year-end and audit requirements. 
  • You’ve been improving processes and routines by leveraging our cool systems and tools, including our new ERP, NetSuite. 
  • You’ve become the go-to finance support for the UKI & EU entities, providing critical guidance and expertise.
  • You’ve actively participated in team-building activities and initiatives that foster a fun and engaging work environment. 
  • You’ve embraced our ongoing learning and development opportunities, along with wellness and DEI programs that prioritise your well-being. 
  • You’ve worked hand-in-hand with your fellow “Number Scrunchers” and other cross-functional teams like P&C, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
