Overview:

SOFTSWISS continues to expand the team and is looking for a Middle Systems Engineer. We need a true, experienced, and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values.

Key responsibilities:

• Communication with product development teams
• Support and development of python based service product
• Gitlab CI pipelines (development, support)
• Automate infrastructure components
• Setup and maintain infrastructure for production/staging environments
• Participate in the launch of new projects
• Participate in the design of complex IT systems
• React to monitoring events (periodical day/night duties)

Experience needed:

• Higher technical education
• 3+ years of experience as a system engineer or SRE/DevOps
• Development experience with Python language:
  1. General understanding of development design patterns and REST (API)
  2. Experience with sqlAlchemy library
  3. Experience with unit tests framework (preferably pytest)

• Experience with configuration management systems (Ansible / Saltstack / Terraform / Pulumi)
• Experience with administration of Kubernetes clusters and Helm package manager
• Experience with configuration GItlab CI/CD pipelines
• Good understanding of Linux-like operating systems
• Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus stack/Zabbix)
• Experience with distributed systems
• Intermediate or higher English (B1+)

Nice to have:

• Experience with log aggregating systems (ELK/EFK stack)
• Experience with domain management (CloudFlare)
• Experience with cloud provider services
• Experience with workflow in Agile like framework (e.g. Kanban)
