Job Description

The APJ Program Manager in the Demand Center has the mission of of supporting & enabling the APJ Field teams in achieving APJ pipeline goals every quarter. He/she will drive the following areas as part of the Demand Center remit.

Global campaigns/product launches 

  • Closely collaborate with Global Campaign Managers (GCM) on campaigns under the campaign framework to understand the campaign objectives, target audience and content journey
  • Act as a key contact point for GCM to provide insights to APJ landscape, our priorities and plans and align with GCM on our marketing plans so that they can support our goals.
  • Work hand in hand with GCM to review campaign performance, provide feedback and optimize results where needed.
  • Be the go to person for all matters related to the campaigns under his/her charge for the APJ Marketing team
  • Adapt and apply global campaign directions/global initiatives to APJ marketing, aligned with Sales/Field business & marketing priorities.
  • Work with Field Marketing on execution of campaigns assets in Field activities as part of the GTM in the various routes to market
  • Work with Product Marketing team for specific content needs – Vertical messaging, Competitive messaging etc
  • Regular syncs with APJ Corp Comms Manager on press release, new key launches / assets for Sales Kit development (e.g. DP Report, Magic Quadrant etc)
  • Customer Stories – Work with Customer Reference Mgr to identify potential APJ customer references that can be part of campaign assets that can be leveraged for promotion and engagement with prospects.

APJ Programs 

  • Lead & own APJ programs end to end, considering the entire customer journey, through to conversion that helps APJ region drive pipeline, and aligned to key APJ initiatives/strategies.  and in some cases, execute upon them regionally.
  • Drive adoption of APJ  Programs in partnership with field marketing, inside sales as well as cross functional teams
  • Leverage Global Campaign Mgrs/Global PMM team for messaging/content
  • Own APJ program end to end – from driving awareness through organic social, employee advocacy, lead acquisition, progression & conversion.
  • Engage Field teams to integrate activities with field driven activities and with inside sales on lead conversion.
  • Manage quarterly planning & budget processes align to the overall strategic plan
  • Monitor & report on program performance & optimization on a bi-weekly basis  

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the tech industry and been involved in lead generation, driving leads to conversion.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing, Communications, or Business (a combination of education and experience will be considered).

Skills and Qualifications

  • A proven marketing campaign manager (create plans, manage budgets, schedules, allocate resources, etc.).
  • Good understanding of marketing automation tools (Eloqua and/or equivalent), Web, SEM (Search Engine Marketing), Display Advertising, Social, Webinars, Podcasts and have experiences in integrating these digital channels & tactics to deliver results for the campaigns & programs
  • Lead generation expert with experience in partnering with Global Demand Center
  • Excellent understanding of analytics, data and attribution
  • Experience in marketing agencies as account manager or client facing role
  • Service-oriented attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lead and maintain relationships in a virtual/physical working environment
  • Demonstrated success delivering meaningful results through teams.
  • Ability to collaborate with globally distributed teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
