Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for innovating, leading, measuring and managing all aspects of the recruitment process to ensure the acquisition of high-quality talent that aligns with our company’s strategic objectives. This role involves developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, managing a team of recruiters, fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders, and continuously improving recruitment processes and practices.
The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition designs, implements, and creates sustainable systems, processes, and procedures that provide meaningful metrics to measure and continually improve the recruitment/onboarding program and its performance. You will meet and exceed recruiting goals by innovating, taking risks, critically thinking, and establishing credibility as a trusted business advisor across all levels within the FoC.
Core Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions
- Lead, develop and manage a team of recruiters, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure team effectiveness and performance.
- Develop, and drive sustainable long-term partnerships across our diverse companies, business functions, business units, and across leadership levels.
- Closely collaborate with hiring managers and department leadership to understand talent needs, establish recruitment priorities, and develop strategic recruitment plans.
- Act as a key member of the TA team both as leader and tactician, assisting with sourcing and maintaining a portfolio of requisitions; dependent on department load.
- Maintain, design, implement, and innovate our technology platform, Workday, as Functional owner and SME of our Talent SKU; translate this knowledge into a repository for the team and organization.
- Analyze and document current Talent Acquisition processes to continually discover and addresses potential gaps and propose efficiencies and future process changes.f sourcing techniques to identify and engage with passive candidates, including direct sourcing, networking, employee referrals, and online channels.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and other talent acquisition vendors to support recruitment efforts as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance recruitment processes, tools, and systems, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Drive and analyze recruitment metrics and data to track key performance indicators, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for process optimization and resource allocation.
- Design, implement, innovate recruitment metrics, KPIs and dashboards for varying levels, from business stakeholders to Executive Leadership.
- Partner closely with People Operations (POPS) leadership and internal teams to drive strategic planning that connects to the FOCS overall mission.
- Apply operational dashboards, controls and reporting to audit, track and drive optimal process adoption and performance.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent acquisition and recruitment, and apply relevant insights to enhance recruitment strategies and practices; and ensure knowledge is transferred to the Talent Acquisition team.
- Manage vendor relationships with staffing agencies, social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.); negotiate and monitor contracts.
- Establish strong and collaborative partnerships within People Operations and Strategy Teams ) and hiring managers of all levels within the organization.
- Ensure recruitment/onboarding practices and processes comply with company policy as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and maintain best practices for hiring managers and interview teams, create / update interview guidelines, feedback forms, tools, and processes.
- Coordinate and attend career fairs, conferences, and other recruitment events as approved.
- Manage and perform special projects and duties as assigned.
- Operate at a forward-thinking level to anticipate future challenges and opportunities, proactively planning ahead to drive results.
- Implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and enhance overall productivity.
- Utilize empathetic understanding to effectively navigate the strengths and weaknesses of the team and organization.
- Collaborate with team members to leverage individual strengths and mitigate weaknesses, fostering a cohesive and high-performing work environment.
Qualifications
Minimum Education, Experience & Training Equivalent to:
- 4 years’ experience leading and managing a full-cycle recruitment/talent acquisition team; healthcare or congruent industry experience a plus.
- Experience recruiting for a broad range of job types and levels, including direct service, management, and executive.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate principles of diversity and inclusion into all aspects of recruitment and onboarding.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience required; Workday Recruiting experience preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Sensitivity to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population.
- A commitment to the values of the organization while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, patience and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), especially Excel and related computer software.

- Work in an exciting, fast paced high energy environment while effectively multitasking and managing day-to-day responsibilities without supervision.

- Proficient in recruitment technology and applicant tracking systems (ATS), with experience implementing and optimizing recruitment tools and processes.

- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills; frequent proofreading and checking documents for accuracy.
- Commitment to meet agreed upon deadlines on time or ahead of schedule.
- Must be highly detail oriented.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to communicate effectively within the work environment, read and write using the primary language within the workplace.
- Visual and auditory ability to work with clients, staff and others in the workplace continuously.
- Frequent speaking and listening (25-75%) to clients, staff, and others in the workplace.
- Utilize computers and cell phone for effective communication.
Conditions of Employment
- Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ). The People & Performance Department must analyze DOJ/FBI live scan reports in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as fitness for the position.
- Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General.
- Must attend any required training.
