Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader with a strong background in accounting, preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), to oversee and guide a team within our operations. The ideal candidate will not only manage day-to-day operations but also bring a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and client expectations. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Take the lead in guiding a talented team of professionals to deliver exceptional accounting and finance services to our valued clients.
- Supervise daily operations to guarantee that we consistently meet or surpass service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide your technical accounting know-how to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reports, reconciliations, and all related services provided by the team.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing escalations, addressing their concerns, and ensuring they are completely satisfied with our services.
- Play a key role in developing and implementing process enhancements that promote operational efficiency and quality.
- Train, mentor, and nurture team members, equipping them with the skills and support they need to excel.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement within the team.
- Collaborate with other departments such as HR and client management to ensure our operations align seamlessly with company objectives and client needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in role, with a focus on finance and accounting services.
- Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing teams.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, work under pressure, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in accounting software and tools, with strong technical skills in MS Excel and related platforms.
