By harnessing cloud-based architecture and the most advanced index tracking technology available today, MerQube’s platform empowers clients to swiftly and efficiently bring their ideas to market.

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Technical Product Manager to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the development and evolution of our cutting-edge indexing platform. You will work closely with financial product managers to deeply understand our business and customers, and then leverage that information to define the technical product roadmap for the platform engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders (Product Management, Engineering, and Sales) to understand market needs, gather requirements, and define product vision and strategy.
  • Speak with customers to build product judgment, understand how our product is used, and gather input for future enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business goals and customer feedback.
  • Translate product requirements into clear user stories, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria for the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with engineers to deliver high-quality product features and improvements on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate testing and define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the product, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of 3+ years of experience in product management in the technology industry.
  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

Who You Are

  • Kind: You operate with courage, show empathy, and instill trust through honesty and integrity
  • Smart: You are able to solve problems through action, make high-quality decisions, and think with a strategic mindset
  • Creative: You gracefully manage ambiguity, cultivate innovation, and demonstrate an insatiable desire to learn

We believe in creating and preserving an environment of collaboration and growth for all team members, and take steps every day to promote inclusivity, wellness, and fun. With these commitments in mind, we are proud to offer:

  • Competitive compensation packages
  • Stellar full-time benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and more
  • Flexible working arrangements, including opportunities to work remotely
  • Community-first environment (we want your colleagues to be your friends!)
  • Focus on health, wellness, and work-life balance
  • Opportunities to learn, develop, and grow
  • PTO, holiday, and sick time
