We have an opening on our New York team for an ambitious and dynamic Account Director with established relationships in media to help drive communications strategy. We work with a diverse range of clients across fintech, sustainability, web3, venture capital, and B2B enterprise. This individual will be a major proponent in driving revenue for the company by diligently managing and overseeing account partnerships.
Responsibilities

- →Lead day-to-day account management: Act as project manager for clients where you are the team lead, executing overall PR strategy, as well as plan and proposal development
- →Play a central role on client teams by leading workstreams, overseeing tactical execution, communicating progress, and contributing insights that help the firm achieve client objectives.
- →Take responsibility for the development and execution of top-quality communications strategies and materials (e.g., shareholder letters, strategy plans, talking points, and press releases).
- →Serve as the account expert and maintain knowledge of everything that is going on with the account. Employ this expertise to anticipate upcoming account needs.
- →Lead business development initiatives and continuously build a strong pipeline of clients
- →Develops Talent: Develops people to meet both their career goals and the organization’s goals.
- →Manages Complexity: Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
- →Be a valuable resource to clients
Requirements
~1 min read- 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications across a variety of sectors
- A strong network of reporter relationships including top-tier and trade
- Experience advising senior leaders across an organization
- Values honest communication, continuous learning opportunities and open dialogue
- Project manager and agency experience
- Broad enterprise client experience across technology and business
- Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- A team player with strong leadership qualities, and a proven ability to delegate and manage a team
- Strong written and communication skills
- Have an interest in and solid understanding of the tech topics of today from AI to blockchain
- Have a passion and interest in media, messaging, and storytelling
