20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
We are seeking a confident and conversational B2B Prospecting Virtual Assistant to conduct outbound calls to small business owners in service-based industries (tree services, landscaping, cleaning companies, laundromats, restaurants, etc.).
This is a quality-focused outbound sales role. The objective is to have meaningful conversations with business owners, introduce direct mail marketing/ad services, identify opportunities, and schedule qualified appointments.
This role requires resilience, creativity, and the ability to navigate skepticism from busy business owners.
Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:
- High-Quality Outbound Prospecting
Conduct targeted outbound calls to pre-qualified small business leads.
Identify and speak directly with decision-makers.
Introduce marketing services in a compelling and conversational manner.
Navigate objections such as “not interested,” “already have marketing,” or “too busy.”
Ask thoughtful follow-up questions to assess fit and interest.
Schedule qualified appointments based on agreed criteria. - Lead Qualification & Documentation
Confirm decision-maker authority before scheduling appointments.
Capture detailed notes including:
Current marketing methods
Pain points
Budget openness
Follow-up timing
Maintain accurate records in Google Sheets (temporary) and Salesforce (once implemented).
Execute structured follow-up for warm prospects. - Performance Reporting
Provide daily reporting on:
Calls made
Conversations held
Decision-makers reached
Qualified appointments booked
Follow-ups scheduled - Focus is placed on meaningful conversations and quality pipeline development over simply dialing volume.
Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.
Requirements
~1 min readThe Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:
- 3+ years experience in B2B outbound cold calling or prospecting.
- Strong English fluency with clear, neutral pronunciation suitable for U.S. business calls.
- Comfortable speaking with blue-collar and service-based business owners.
- Skilled in objection handling and conversational redirection.
- Resilient in high-rejection environments.
- Strong note-taking and CRM discipline.
- Open to ongoing feedback and script optimization.
Requirements

- Familiarity with Salesforce.
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients.
- Contracted Hours per Week: 10 Hours (Part-Time; potential to increase)
- Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday
- Daily Working Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST OR 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM EST (may fluctuate slightly)
Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.
- Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
- This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
- All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
