The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including mobile phones and tablets. Your primary focus will be development of iOS applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.  AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:  iOS Application Development:  • Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform (Native/Swift)  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency  • Effective use of version control  • Management of App Store Connect, Certificates, Profiles, etc…  QUALIFICATIONS:    • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience  • Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in iOS application development.  • Proficiency in Swift  • Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, ML Kit, CoreML, etc…  • Familiarity with API development to connect iOS applications to back-end services  • Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle & guidelines  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously  • Excellent communication skills  Location: Remote or Hybrid/Local to the Greater Toronto Area  Benefits:  • Competitive salary  • Comprehensive benefits package  • Opportunities for professional development and growth  • Dynamic and collaborative work environment
