This role plays an important part in keeping our Co-op financially accurate and accountable. By making sure our bank accounts are properly reconciled, you’ll help us protect our finances, support confident decision-making, and maintain trust with our clients, customers, and third-party investors.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with colleagues to review and reconcile multiple bank accounts
  • Support the production of period end balance sheet reconciliations, analysing variances and making sure aged items are resolved
  • Support the production of query reports to partners and resolution of unreconciled bank transactions
  • Make sure that financial integrity is maintained and that all reconciling items and adjustments are resolved within agreed timescales
  • Respond to queries via email, investigating issues and resolving them in a timely manner
  • Assist in the production and review of process documentation
  • Provide support, guidance, and expertise to your team members
  • Regularly update team managers about outstanding issues, and escalate problems where necessary to discuss resolutions

  • Experience working in cash allocations
  • Experience using SAP software
  • Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Excel and Outlook)
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
