36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 7:00PM to 7:30AM

Every third weekend rotation, 50% holiday rotation

Our Patient Population: West Allis Medical ICU

16 Bed unit providing care to critically ill patients.
Diagnosis includes Sepsis, Stroke, Respiratory conditions, chronic Vent, Acute Kidney Injury, Pulmonary Emboli/Deep Vein Thrombosis, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, Substance Abuse along with many other comorbidities.
Master skills in pharmacology, pathophysiology, laboratory value interpretation and in-depth assessments of patients.
Supportive learning environment, team approach, patient centric care to optimize patient outcomes.
Opportunities for shared governance and committee work at unit and site levels

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Candidates must have at least 1 year of RN experience, this position is not for new grads
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
