About the Role

We’re hiring our first GTM Manager in the United States, a foundational role that will define how Abaka AI communicates its vision, engages the AI community, and builds a world-class brand. You will lead the strategy and execution across social media, content, community programs, and event presence, helping position Abaka and 2077AI at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry.

This role sits at the intersection of research, product, and marketing. You will work closely with engineering and leadership teams to translate technical progress into clear, compelling narratives, and ensure our datasets, benchmarks, and product milestones reach the right audiences at the right time. Your work will shape how developers, researchers, and partners experience the Abaka ecosystem.

As an early member of the go-to-market function, you will have significant ownership over messaging, growth strategy, community infrastructure, and our presence at top AI conferences. If you thrive in fast-moving environments and enjoy building GTM foundations from the ground up, this role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful and lasting impact.

Responsibilities

Manage and operate Abaka AI and 2077AI social media accounts across LinkedIn and X/Twitter.

Plan, draft, and publish timely PR content related to new dataset and product releases, benchmark results and leaderboard wins, research updates from the 2077AI community, and industry commentary on frontier AI model developments.

Monitor hot topics and daily developments in the AI domain, including model releases and new benchmark papers.

Promote recruiting materials for 2077AI research internships across multimodalities such as text, image, video, 3D, coding, and agent-related tracks.

Manage and grow the 2077AI Discord server and Slack community by moderating conversations, posting announcements, highlighting community contributions, and coordinating events such as office hours, mentorship sessions, and workshops.

Create marketing materials using tools like Canva, Figma, or Photoshop.

Maintain decks, banners, event posters, and social graphics.
→
Support major conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ICLR, AAAI, and industry events like CES and GTC.

Coordinate meetups, happy hours, and community-facing initiatives with partners.

Requirements

1 to 3+ years of experience in marketing, content creation, or social media management.
Experience in growth hacking and experimentation.
Experience building automation systems or hacking-based workflows.
Strong awareness of trending topics and timing, especially within fast-moving AI and technology spaces.
Proficiency with design tools such as Canva, Figma, Photoshop, or similar.
Excellent writing skills with the ability to simplify complex or technical ideas.
Strong aesthetic judgment for layout, color, and brand consistency.
Familiarity with analytics tools for tracking engagement and performance.
Passion for AI, machine learning, or frontier technologies.
Ability to interpret high-level technical concepts (datasets, benchmarks, models) and translate them into accessible content.
Experience managing Discord or Slack communities, particularly those with technical audiences.

What We Offer

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 USD annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work at Abaka AI. This role is eligible for equity, as well as a comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, PTO, flexible work schedule).
