We currently have a role for a Manufacturing Process Engineer on our Night Shift and this role will involve the following:
- Maintain plant and manufacturing equipment to maximise uptime and support safe, reliable operations.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Engineering, Safety, Personnel, and Finance policies.
- Support continuous improvement and development within the Engineering team.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on equipment and utilities.
- →Maintain engineering documentation and support equipment validation.
- →Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors, including issuing permits.
- →Support equipment and process improvement projects.
- →Ensure compliance with building, facility, and equipment standards.
- →Prepare departmental metrics and reports.
- →Use systems such as CMSNext, POEE, DHM, BMS, and CTMS.
- →Promote safe working practices and ensure adherence to all EHS standards.
- →Participate in incident investigations and drive safety improvements.
- →Foster a strong safety culture across the plant.
- Trade certification or relevant third‑level qualification.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in engineering or technical roles within healthcare or food processing.
- Strong organisational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage timelines and work independently or as part of a team.
- Self-starter with ability to organize and work within a team. This experience is necessary to ensure the skills, management expertise and problem solving techniques have been acquired.
- Strong communication and ability to work with all levels of management.
- Effective problem‑solving using structured tools.
- Ability to negotiate, present information, and collaborate cross‑functionally.
- Mentorship of junior engineers.
- High attention to detail to prevent equipment or process issues.
