Manufacturing Process Engineer (Night Shift)

We currently have a role for a Manufacturing Process Engineer on our Night Shift and this role will involve the following:

• Maintain plant and manufacturing equipment to maximise uptime and support safe, reliable operations.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Engineering, Safety, Personnel, and Finance policies.
• Support continuous improvement and development within the Engineering team.

• →Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on equipment and utilities.
• →Maintain engineering documentation and support equipment validation.
• →Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors, including issuing permits.
• →Support equipment and process improvement projects.
• →Ensure compliance with building, facility, and equipment standards.
• →Prepare departmental metrics and reports.
• →Use systems such as CMSNext, POEE, DHM, BMS, and CTMS.
• →Promote safe working practices and ensure adherence to all EHS standards.
• →Participate in incident investigations and drive safety improvements.
• →Foster a strong safety culture across the plant.

• Trade certification or relevant third‑level qualification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in engineering or technical roles within healthcare or food processing.
• Strong organisational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage timelines and work independently or as part of a team.

• Self-starter with ability to organize and work within a team. This experience is necessary to ensure the skills, management expertise and problem solving techniques have been acquired.
• Strong communication and ability to work with all levels of management.
• Effective problem‑solving using structured tools.
• Ability to negotiate, present information, and collaborate cross‑functionally.
• Mentorship of junior engineers.
• High attention to detail to prevent equipment or process issues.
