We are currently searching for an experienced Senior Drainage Project Engineer to support our Southwest Region located in Austin, Houston, McKinney, Rockwall, Round Rock, San Antonio, or Tyler, TX.

Responsibilities

→Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering
→Valid Professional Engineering Licensure or the ability to acquire it within 6 months
→10+ years of relative/progressive drainage/water resources and TxDOT experience
→Experience with OpenRoads Designer, Storm CAD, ICPR, HEC-RAS, GIS and/or SUDA software
→Previous TxDOT Drainage design experience and strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and procedures
→Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana. Please note that federal regulations may differ from state-specific guidelines
→Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR)
