Founders Classical Academy Online seeks to cultivate in students a disciplined understanding of the natural world through the study of scientific principles and the observation of nature’s order and complexity.

Scientific study encourages curiosity, precision, and careful reasoning while helping students understand the structure and laws governing the natural world.

The Science Teacher will guide students in the study of the natural world through observation, experimentation, and structured inquiry. Instruction emphasizes scientific reasoning, evidence-based thinking, and the careful study of natural phenomena.

Students explore scientific principles through experimentation, analysis, and conceptual understanding. The teacher provides clear instruction, encourages curiosity, and helps students develop disciplined scientific thinking.

Instruction should balance conceptual understanding, laboratory inquiry, and scientific literacy while maintaining strong academic expectations in the virtual classroom.

Please note – while this is an online school position and all instruction occurs virtually, travel and face to face attendance will be required several times per year to support in person state testing and student events.
