The Behavioral Health Technician or Behavioral Health Technician-Applied Behavior Analysis (BHT / BHT-ABA) assists the treatment team in implementing the Individual Treatment Plan for an identified child and/or adolescent. The BHT /BHT-ABA is responsible for providing one-on-one implementation of established treatment plans working directly with children and adolescents facing behavioral and emotional challenges.   The primary goal is to improve independent age-appropriate functioning levels and to transfer skills to the child, parents/legal guardians, and caregivers.  BHT/BHT-ABA must have flexibility to schedule services provided in the home, school and community settings as needed.

We are especially seeking candidates who are interested in working during school hours within the Girard, East Springfield, and Northwestern School Districts.  These school-based opportunities are ideal for individuals who enjoy working in educational settings and want a consistent daytime schedule aligned with the school calendar. Why Work in a School Setting?

    • Working in schools provides a unique and rewarding experience where you can:
    • Build strong relationships with students in their natural learning environment
    • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school teams
    • See real-time growth in students’ academic, social, and behavioral skills
    • Enjoy a predictable daytime schedule that supports work-life balance
    • Make a meaningful difference in a child’s school success and confidence
