Affinity Group is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Sales Support Specialist to join our Illinois Team. Reporting to the Sales Planning and Marketing Manager, this role plays a key part in supporting regional sales and marketing initiatives while helping ensure the day-to-day operations of our Arlington Heights office run smoothly. The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for providing administrative, operational, and event support to the sales organization. This role helps streamline processes, coordinate meetings and events, manage office operations, and support sales teams with the tools and resources needed to drive business growth.

A background in sales support, marketing, office administration, or project coordination is preferred.

A Typical Week Might Include the Following:
Sales Support
The Sales Support Specialist provides administrative and operational support to the sales organization by coordinating meetings, managing calendars and office logistics, preparing business materials, and ensuring smooth execution of trainings, customer presentations, and special events.
Sales Meetings & Events
You'll prepare presentation materials, maintain the Sales Meeting Calendar, coordinate meeting logistics, and provide support for regional meetings, food shows, and special events.


Office Operations
You'll help keep the Arlington Heights office running smoothly by greeting visitors, managing conference room schedules, ordering office supplies, coordinating lunches and office events, and supporting a positive employee experience.
Administrative Support
You'll provide administrative support to the Sales Planning and Marketing Manager while assisting the Client Management team and partnering with departments across the Midwest region on special projects and operational initiatives.
Cross-Team Collaboration
You'll partner with Sales, Marketing, Client Management, and Corporate teams to support regional initiatives, maintain SharePoint resources, and help ensure projects are completed efficiently.
The Role Might Be Right for You If You Have:
  • Prior experience in sales support, marketing, office administration, or project coordination.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with Canva, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 applications preferred.
  • A proactive, customer-focused attitude with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
What to Expect:
  • Full-time, hourly position with a Monday through Friday schedule.
  • Hybrid work environment with 3–4 days per week in the Arlington Heights office.
  • A collaborative role supporting Sales Planning & Marketing, Client Management, and regional sales teams.
  • Opportunities to participate in sales meetings, regional events, employee engagement activities, and special projects.
  • Must have reliable transportation for occasional travel to regional meetings, food shows, or company events.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of office supplies, presentation materials, and event items up to 50 pounds.
