You’ll help build the foundational platform and customer experiences needed to bring Affirm’s products to a new generation of international markets. The team owns and evolves the end-to-end post-purchase journey across international markets, ensuring that customers can confidently manage their purchases and access experiences tailored to their local needs. Success requires deep collaboration: you’ll partner closely with European engineering counterparts and teams across Affirm’s global Post-Purchase organization to develop cohesive, scalable solutions. • →With the support of your team, you will work on tasks that contribute to the team's projects and goals.

• →On-Call Rotation - There would be an on-call rotation for this role as a requirement.

• You have previous work or internship designing, developing and launching APIs at scale using languages like Python or Kotlin.
• You have previous work or internship experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
• You have mastered taking a simple problem or business scenario into a solution that interacts with multiple software components, and executing on it by writing clear, easily understood, well tested and extensible code.
• You are comfortable navigating a large code base, debugging others' code, and providing feedback to other engineers through code reviews.
• Your experience demonstrates that you take ownership of your growth, proactively seeking feedback from your team, your manager, and your stakeholders.
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills that support effective collaboration with our global engineering team.

Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills. 

The majority of our roles can be located anywhere in Spain.
