Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity through its Indonesia entity, PT AHK Testing Indonesia, who is looking for Sampler & Preparator to join our team. PT AHK Testing Indonesia provides independent analysis and inspection services to the metals, minerals and solid fuels industries. We have a well-earned reputation for our knowledge and professionalism in all aspects of weighing, sampling and analysis.

The Sampler & Preparator will play a vital role in field operations by carrying out sampling, sample preparation, and associated tasks according to client instructions and company standards. The role requires strict adherence to safety and quality protocols and contributes to maintaining the integrity of the sampling process and operational efficiency.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE 

Essential 

• Conduct preparation and sampling in the field as directed by the Supervisor or Operations Manager.
• Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the relevant procedures and client instructions.
• Complete preparation and sampling activities with a strong awareness of and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of samples collected and processed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and policies.
• Report any unsafe acts or conditions to the Supervisor or Operations Manager immediately.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in field operations.

Required Work Experience

• Willing to work in the field and perform physical tasks.
• Understand the importance of safety and quality standards in sampling and preparation.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and instructions accurately.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of SMA/SMK or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in field sampling or laboratory preparation is preferred but not essential.
• Willing to be placed and assigned across AHK locations in Indonesia.
