Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
- To be responsible for clinical, academic, and educational roles centred around Genomic Medicine
- To assist the genetic physician/counsellor in Prenatal/Perinatal, Paediatric and Adult Genetics clinics
- To conduct various analyses of Genomic data collected from clinical practice and various research collaborations
- To draft high-quality research proposals for funding agencies; conduct research and contribute to publications and manuscripts
- To build academic collaborations for Disease-Specific Genomics and Public Health Genomics research
- To engage with medical students, trainees and faculty for educational sessions and workshops focusing on the basics and emerging trends in Genomics
Requirements:
You should have:
Bachelor of Sciences in Human Genetics or a related field (Masters Preferred)
- 1- 2 years of work experience preferably in a relevant field
- Experience in NGS data interpretation and basic knowledge of bioinformatics
- Experience with patient management and understanding of the complexities of genetics in clinical settings
