Our Pre-Sales team strengthens Alanâs Enterprise and Public sector Sales to better handle the specificities of our largest customers and we're looking for the next Sales engineer to join it.
Master our platform and support Sales team by enabling them with insights, expertise and the relevant tools;
Listen and understand prospectsâ needs and work internally on how Alan can address them best;
Build a thorough understanding of the prospect and assess the level of functional alignment with our offering and capabilities;Participate to RFP submissions and build Alanâs response in collaboration with Sales, Insurance and Product experts;
Join the customer acquisition journey to evangelize our services and products;
Act as voice of the customer feeding Alanâs platform roadmap;
Prepare handover for delightful customersâ onboardings;
Participate to and eventually coordinate the most complex customer onboardings;
Work in close collaboration with your peers in France to insure good practice sharing and build a global playbook.
Your role will be to lead and coordinate Pre-sales strategy on the most complex deals. You will be at the driver seat, shaping and scaling this function, bringing both operational excellence and strategic vision within a recently created team and edit the company to make our Sales teams the most effective of all!
Since we opened our Belgium market in 2020, we have experienced great momentum and traction. Weâve onboarded 1200+ companies, and delighted 90.000+ members so far. Our local team is growing (so far we went from 0 to 70+ in just over 5 years đ).
We now want to take the market by storm and exponentially grow the business to ultimately become the market leader by 2030 in Belgium. Our pre-sales will ensure we continue to expand in the enterprise and public segments. Being at Alan means joining a team of talented, committed and passionate colleagues. You have at least 4+ years of experience working in a SaaS environment;
Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch OR French
You are experienced in end-to-end procurement projects (buyer or supplier side) with involvement in RFIâs, RFQâs and RFPâs;
You master the art of pitching a product with transparency and without overselling its capabilities ;
You quickly get to the root cause of customers concern through active listening and requirements elicitation;
You are assertive and know how to handle objections in a complex environment;
You have the ability to break down complex issues and identify product gaps to define the best product solutions;
You are great at sharing the right insights and context to influence the product we build;
You thrive at high level stakeholdersâ management;
You excel at prioritizing tasks while living up to commitments;
You love teamwork and are always eager to learn and grow;
Being fluent in both Dutch AND French is a big plus
Experience in Insurance or Health platforms
Experience in end-to-end procurement projects (buyer or supplier side) with involvement in RFIâs, RFQâs and RFPâs
Experience in HRIS / Payroll solutions
