The Junior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for minimizing project costs and maximizing value while ensuring that the required quality and standards are met. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of project costing, contract management, and site coordination. Working closely with Project Leaders, the Junior Quantity Surveyor will support the end-to-end financial management of projects from inception to completion, contributing to the efficiency and success of the company’s operations.

Key Responsibilities
Cost Management and Financial Reporting
- Conduct ongoing cost analysis to ensure project financial goals are
- Manage interim payment assessments and oversee the cost management
- Compile monthly Work in Progress (WIP) updates and track financial
Support Site Operations and Material Control
- Support on-site measurements and maintain detailed
- Monitor and document materials issued and returned on a per-project
- Collaborate with Project Leaders to verify subcontractor rates and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
Claims and Documentation Management
- Prepare claims documentation in accordance with specifications, drawings, and bills of
- Manage design variation claims and coordinate with stakeholders to address additional
- Audit subcontractor payments and prepare necessary certifications for
Health, Safety, and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations in all project
- Maintain high standards of quality control and follow all company protocols and field
Stakeholder and Customer Relations
- Assist in resolving disputes with clients and subcontractors, ensuring positive
- Maintain customer trust by managing confidential information with
- Attend relevant training sessions and assessments to enhance skills and meet industry
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Educational background in construction, engineering, quantity surveying, or similar
- Previous experience in a similar or related role is a plus
