~1 min readThe CMMC Manager works to execute department activities and provide leadership to the Federal Practice department and its consulting teams. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of all CMMC engagement functions, including project management, client service activities, and technical assessment strategy. As the CMMC Manager, you will provide exceptional leadership and methodological strategies to help the continued growth of our fast-paced company. A-LIGN will depend on you as the CMMC Manager to support management, oversee the delivery of high-quality federal compliance reports, and mentor junior staff to ensure the success of our federal service offerings.
Senior Manager of Federal Practice
Full-Time
Responsibilities

- →Monitor the progress of engagements and key project activity dates
- →Ensure deadlines are met
- →Provide updates to leadership team
- →Attend manager meetings
- →Mediate complications as they may arise, relating to client, staff consultants, or project execution
- →Review work papers, drafts, and final reports with high attention to detail
Requirements

- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, management information systems, computer science, or relevant discipline
EXPERIENCE
- IT Audit management experience required, Big 4 external consulting experience preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in information security
- Familiarity with any of the following Security Frameworks (NIST, ISO, COBIT, HIPAA/HITECH, etc.) required
- Experience with US government compliance, including FISMA, FedRAMP, RMF, and CSF preferred
CERTIFICATIONS
- Willing to obtain CMMC Certified Practitioner (CCP) upon hire
- CISA, CISSP, CISM, CCSK, or other relevant certifications required
SKILLS
- Ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of motivation
- Excellent communication skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work individually as well as collaboratively
