Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical power systems across business operations and projects as well as ensuring compliance with the “Engineering Industry Promotion Act” and the “Electrical Technology Management Act”. This role ensures system safety, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards while supporting both engineering design and project execution.

The position focuses on power distribution, protection systems, and electrical infrastructure, and collaborates with instrumentation, and upstream engineers to ensure integrated system performance.

Location: Busan or Bundang

Electrical Design & Engineering

• Design electrical systems including power distribution, switchgear, MCC, and control panels
• Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and protection coordination
• Prepare and review electrical drawings (single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, layouts, other deliverables)
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards and codes

Engineering Documentation & Specification

• Develop electrical specifications, datasheets, and technical documentation
• Prepare and maintain bill of materials (BOM) and equipment lists
• Prepare material requisitions for electrical equipment
• Review of vendor documentation for approval and implementation
• Review engineering deliverables for accuracy and completeness

Project Execution & Coordination

• Coordinate with upstream and downstream engineers inside the engineering organization.
• Coordinate with project, procurement, construction, commissioning  and other related functions
• Interface with vendors for equipment design and delivery
• Support implementation throughout project lifecycle

Testing & Commissioning

• Execute or Support FAT, SAT, and site commissioning activities
• Verify installation and system performance
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform root cause analysis

System Integration & Collaboration

• Collaborate with instrumentation and automation engineers
• Ensure integration between electrical and control systems
• Execute multidisciplinary coordination

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Support audits and quality assurance activities
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions

• Must be registered as a “ Electrical designer” grade in the Korea Electric Engineers Association (KEEA) career management and shall have one of the following licenses.

• Certified Electrical Engineer (전기기사) : minimum of 2 years of relevant experience following license acquisition
• Certified Electrical Construction Engineer (전기공사기사) : minimum of 2 years of relevant experience following license acquisition
• Certified Industrial Electrical Engineer (전기산업기사) : minimum of 5 years of relevant experience following license acquisition
  • Certified Electrical construction industrial Engineer (전기공사산업기사) : minimum of 5 years of relevant experience following license acquisition

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience in electrical design and power systems
• Understanding of low/medium voltage systems and protection
• Experience with Power system tools with ETAP, SKM or similar tools
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar tools
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• English communication skills
