Supply Chain Manager

Allen Control Systems (ACS) is a cutting-edge defense startup, founded by two former Navy electrical engineers with a proven track record in robotics and software. We are developing a small, autonomous gun turret that employs advanced computer vision and control systems to precisely target and neutralize small drones and loitering munitions. We are seeking a highly driven Supply Chain Manager to build and scale our supply chain operations from the ground up. This role will be responsible for sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and logistics across a complex, regulated environment. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of critical components. 

This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly, and understands the unique challenges of defense procurement. 

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations (defense, aerospace, or hardware startup preferred) 
• Strong understanding of defense regulations (ITAR/EAR/DFARS) 
• Experience sourcing complex components (electronics, machined parts, etc.) 
• Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage contracts 
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
