At the heart of everything we do is our vision to change lives every day, and our mission to grow The National Lottery responsibly and champion its impact.
We are Allwyn UK, part of the Allwyn Entertainment Group – a multi-national lottery operator with a market-leading presence across the USA (Michigan and Illinois) and Europe, including Czech Republic, Austria, Greece, Cyprus and Italy.
While the main contribution of The National Lottery to society is through the funds to good causes, at Allwyn we put our purpose and values at the heart of everything we do. Join us as we embark on a once-in-a-lifetime, largescale transformation journey by creating a National Lottery that delivers more money to good causes.
We’ll talk a bit more about us further down the page, but for now – let’s talk about the role and who we’re looking for…
About the Role
~1 min readThis is an exciting opportunity to join the Financial Control team within an innovative, multibillion-pound business at a significant point in its development. Reporting to the IFRS Finance Manager, the Financial Accountant will play a central role in delivering a high-quality, Board-ready Annual Report & Accounts by co-ordinating complex inputs, reviews and approvals across Finance, Group, the Executive team, the Board, external auditors and advisers. Alongside the Annual Report & Accounts, the role will support technical accounting, audit readiness and wider reporting improvements, helping to strengthen controls, streamline processes and improve the quality and efficiency of delivery. It offers broad exposure across the business and the opportunity to influence the continued development of Allwyn’s external reporting and financial governance.
Financial Control protects the financial integrity of the business. The team brings together Financial Accounting, Group and Statutory Reporting, Treasury and Regulatory Reporting to ensure that financial information is complete, accurate and delivered on time; assets and funds are safeguarded; and the business meets its accounting, financing, audit and regulatory obligations.

- →Work alongside the design agency on report design, imagery, key messages and final production requirements.
