Alpha Inc. is hunting for an A-Player Dozer + Grader Operator who can move material with intent—not just make noise and tracks.

If you know how to build grade, hold tolerance, read the ground, and make dirt behave—this is your lane. We’re talking real production, real finish, and real pride on projects that shape Hawaiʻi.

Alpha Inc.’s culture runs on three values (you’ll feel them on every crew):

  • Lead with Heart – Respect the people. Protect the crew. Do the right thing.

  • Strength in Unity – No lone wolves. We win as one team.

  • Alpha Mentality – Accountability, grit, and getting it done right the first time.

Responsibilities

  • Mass grading / cut-fill balance with production awareness (not just “push ‘til it’s flat”).

  • Slot dozing, side casting, back-blading, benching, and clean transitions between lifts.

  • Ripping / rock handling (when needed) and smart coordination with loaders/excavators/haul.

  • Building stable working surfaces, access, and pads while protecting the jobsite plan.

  • Fine grading subgrade/base to spec and tolerance (tight work, clean lines).

  • Crown, cross-slope, superelevation, shoulder work, and ditch/berm shaping that drains right.

  • Stringline/slope stake awareness, reading plans/grades, and executing without babysitting.

  • Experience with GPS / machine control (Trimble/Topcon or similar) is a big plus but not required.

  • Building grade in variable material (coral, cinder, clay, select fill, import base) without chasing waves.

  • Blending transitions (tie-ins, driveways, intersections, curb lines, building pads).

  • Trim pass discipline: setting yourself up so the last pass is clean, not a rescue mission.

  • Working tight areas: utilities, live traffic zones, structural edges, and environmental boundaries.

  • 5+ years operating dozers and graders on heavy civil/grading projects (more is better).

  • You can prove you can:

    • move material fast and right

    • hold finish tolerances

    • work safely near people, equipment, and utilities

  • Strong jobsite communication (radio discipline, hand signals, situational awareness).

  • You show up: reliable, accountable, coachable, and calm under pressure.

  • Valid driver’s license - CDL A is a plus
