Position Location: Chantilly, VA

We are seeking a Network Engineer responsible for configuration, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a critical operational network. Provides an engineering resource to support data communications and related applications requirements. Provides administrative support of installed systems/networks. Responsible for planning and implementing the necessary hardware, software and telecommunications equipment to maintain and/or enhance the organization’s networks.  Evaluates vendor products and recommends purchases. Recommends and implements network policies and procedures and ensures adherence to security procedures.

• →Assist in installations, configurations, upgrades, and maintenance of network equipment (switches, firewalls, and load balancers)
• →Monitor network performance and troubleshooting
• →Document network configurations and diagrams
• →Provide technical support to system operators
• →Assist in implementing STIG compliance

Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s in  computer science or information technology, 10+ years of experience
• Master’s in  computer science or information technology, 5+ years of experience
• Must currently possess a TS/SCI w/CI polygraph.
