CDL-A Dry Van Driver

Pay: $1,750 to $1,850 per week | Home Time: Home Every 4-6 Days

• Average 3,500 miles per week
• Primarily no-touch dry van freight
• Drop-and-hook freight opportunities
• Late-model International LT equipment

Pay and Miles

• $1,750 to $1,850 per week
• Approximately 3,500 miles per week
• All dispatched miles paid, loaded or empty

Additional fuel bonus opportunities are available through the company's MPG incentive program.

Home Time and Running Areas

This position is designed around a balanced schedule that keeps drivers moving while still providing regular time at home.

• 4-6 nights on the road
• 34-hour reset one week
• 48-hour reset the following week

Equipment

Drivers operate late-model International LT trucks designed for comfort and productivity.

• 71-inch sleepers and automatic transmissions
• APUs, inverters, and space for a refrigerator
• Maintained through Penske's nationwide maintenance network

Assigned fleet managers work directly with drivers to support load planning, communication, and home-time scheduling.

Freight

• General dry van freight
• Majority no-touch
• Drop-and-hook freight opportunities

Many loads are handled through drop-and-hook operations, helping reduce time spent waiting at customer locations.

Ideal Candidate
