AMG & Associates, Inc. is a leading provider of construction and maintenance services, dedicated to delivering high-quality and innovative solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis.
The Service Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our service department. You will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling service calls, managing customer inquiries and concerns, and working closely with the service team to ensure timely and satisfactory completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process service requests from clients, ensuring all necessary information is gathered and accurately recorded
- Schedule and dispatch service technicians to job sites, taking into consideration factors such as location, urgency, and availability
- Monitor and track service calls to ensure timely and efficient completion, providing updates to clients as needed
- Communicate with clients to gather feedback and address any concerns or issues that may arise during or after service calls
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, including time and materials used, to facilitate invoicing and reporting
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure all necessary materials and equipment are available for scheduled jobs
- Assist with invoicing and billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to clients
- Continuously monitor and improve service processes to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a construction or service-based industry
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with scheduling software is an asset
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations
- Knowledge of construction and maintenance processes is an asset, but not required
